Scotland 2014 Range Rover Vogue SDV6 Santorini Black

Finished decontaminating the bodywork from the harshness of winter by using Iron X (removes metal contaminants) and Tardis degreaser (basically tar spot remover) on all exterior panels. 1 hour yesterday and 90 minutes today safely removed contamination that otherwise would be 'baked' on.. Good job done and hopefully 20 minutes here and there will enable a polish and wax in the same bite size chunks.

Finally got to try the car in the snow - WOW! Had HDC and snow program on and it took everything in its stride.

I know the snow wasn't reallybad, but the confidence it inspired was immense! Thumbs Up Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Scotland 2014 Range Rover Vogue SDV6 Santorini Black

On arrival at the hoose, 4 minute jet washed the wet road spray and dirty bits off it having applied AG SRP the other day. A bit CDO but if you can keep a hose set up for this purpose in winter the muck falls of the car and eradicates the need to spend 1 to 2 hours per week cleaning it from scratch!

Thumbs Up

Spent a couple of hours stripping the brakes and cleaned all the crud off them , greased the pins and cleaned all the guides
All because the back passenger side was sticking . Now all working fine.

Drove it down to Skegness to run the children on the beach and ride their bikes along the sea front.

It's now filthy, so that may well be tomorrows job!

Looking great mc,

I fitted fronts and back mudflaps, I can only offer this advice, soak any flap in hot water for a while to make them more pliable before you start.
