Evoque Interior

Have just browsed through the photos that somebody posted on babyrr.com . Excellent photos but was very disappointed in the quality of the interior of the Evoque. The leather is apparently 'Oxford Leather' as in the Vogue but I cannot help thinking how cheap it looks in the Evoque. I know the price point is a lot lower but plastic seat backs with tacky nets, leather which looks like leatherette etc is surely not the 'luxury' image Range Rover is trying to produce?

Leg room in the rear looks very limited.

I have to disagree with you, I think it looks like a very tidy and upmarket interior. The tan leather looks especially nice. 2006 Mercedes CLS

But really finding it hard to fight the urge for a S/C...

I like the look of the leather:

Tan does look OK yes. My comments were more based around the Ivory interior - particularly in the rear seat area.

LOVE the Tan Thumbs Up but agree not sure on the Ivory as it looks Bland....

Do they offer a Dark instead of light interior with the Tan Seats?

Don't think so. I know they offer Ebony headlining instead of Ivory for about £250.

Personally hate the tan, reminds me of 1970's sofas but each to their own........
You'll notice it's stitched leather like the SE which is nice. I'm not so keen on the leather in the standard vogue with the piping - it's also a bit more slippery than the semi aniline in the SE.

The seats look quite firm though in that pic - probably comparable to the RR sport ? I'm taking a guess they aim it more at this market place ?

I hope they do a BLACK\BLACK\BLACK option with ivory facings and stitching.....otherwise it'll never be a runaround for the wife!

Slightly off topic but I'm gutted they've called it a RR

Now we have a FFRR, a disco called a RR and this repmobile trading off the name!

Completely agree - the RR brand is becoming a 'standalone' with 3 levels. I think it will be sold off separately in a few years.

There will be more than 3 levels I'd have thought.
Still openings in the luxury range Jaguar Land Rover have not explored.

Went to the Canary Wharf Motor Expo yesterday where they had four on display. The interior is quite stylish Smile
