Drivers door stuck in superlock

Hello, I hope some kind person can help me with a very frustrating problem. On my 2011 4TDV8, the driver and passenger door central locking, windows and mirror stopped working. An IID scan indicated U0199 'no communication with door module'.
I replaced the module and the windows and mirror all started working again but the central locking did not.
I made sure the battery was fully charged and did a reset by shorting the disconnected battery leads. No joy. The problem now is that I can't get to the large plug in the front of the door as the superlocking engaged and will not release so I have to climb in through the passenger door. The door card and liner are off the door and I have tried the key in the passenger door lock and then by connecting 12V directly to the lock motors. The motors move the button and make the usual noise but they don't release the lock. I have a spare door lock which works properly when I test that. All the wires in the door harness are black, not what is shown on my wiring diagrams.
I have tried releasing the lock manually using a long screwdriver to push the lock lever down but I can't get it to open.
This is the first time in 60 years of working on cars that I have been stuck, so could someone please help?
Thanks very much

Presumably the dead lock has stuck on! Latch fault!

Have you tried a battery reset? I would 3 or 4 times just to be sure! Then.......

Do a little dance to the latch gods hoping it opens one last time so you can change it otherwise it will be a case of ripping off your door card (often in chunks) then having to cut the latch locking plate above and below the latch to release the door!!!

Not easy I'm afraid sir and for anyone reading this thread in the future on the search facility? The first sign of these faults get the latch changed as its a simple replacement job... When stuck shut... Turns into a nightmare!

What’s the signs of a latch failing? Mine needs 2 pulls to undo from the inside but thought this was just a design feature….. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

2 pulls means you have drive away autolock selected...switch that off and you'll only need one pull to open that door. ... - .- -.

Thanks Embarassed . My Audi had autolock on drive away but only needed one pull to unlock and open hence my confusion (and continual inability to exit the car without getting annoyed) 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

You can turn it off in the menu on the dash... Pete

Drivers door stuck in superlock

Thanks for your suggestions. I have now managed to get the door open without damaging it. I already had the door card off, fortunately, so I indulged in a bit of keyhole surgery. I removed, the cables, then prised off the plastic cover. Using a light and a mirror, I eventually found a lever which unfastened the superlocking manually using a long screwdriver. I replaced the lock unit so I can now lock the drivers door and rear offside door manually as the central locking only works the left side doors and the tailgate.
Holding the unlock button on the keyfob opens all windows and sunroof but holding the lock button does not shut any windows. My IID indicates a possible fault on the keyfob reception antenna so that will be my next line of investigation.
