2 new 225/55R20 110W fitted to the fronts. Technically they should go on the back but those still have >5mm on them and given the load and work the fronts do on these cars I'm going to break that rule and keep the best and newest tyres where they are. Noticed that going over potholes and rough bits of road feels a lot less harsh than before and may get the rears done soon anyway as the DOT date is 7yrs old so probably past their best even with enough tread. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

It rides so much more smoothly now and as you go over a sharp road imperfection you can hear and feel how the front impact is less harsh than the rear. Not sure if they have softened the tyre structure or the tyres have age hardened but very tempted now to replace the rears as well. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Have you tried having the tyres inflated with Nitrogen?, I thought this was until I tried it, it might be imagination but I definately noticed a difference with ride quality.

Air is nearly 80% nitrogen, nitrogen used for tyres is not 100% pure and difficult to see how they can purge the tyre 100% of all oxygen and other gases and vapor. Difficult to see how pure nitrogen can make a difference to ride quality and by what physical quality and even the adverts don't mention this. Maybe your tyre pressures were different before and after filling  2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

its only a dryer gas and from experience it doesnt make any difference.. ... - .- -.
