I can understand the premiums being high given how desirable these cars are, but what I don't fully understand is whether the premiums reflect inherent weaknesses in the security of the L460?

I understand that older Land Rovers were stolen by intercepting the keyless remote unlocking, but surely the security on the latest models is better? 2024 Range Rover P550e AB

I've got 3 cars all the home insurance (Buildings and contents) with NFU and they are very good, especially with claims. All LR cars from 1984

I've gone with NFU partly because I quite like having a named person in an office 15 mins away that I can speak to, and their premium was reasonable even if possibly not the cheapest. After all, the only time insurance matters is when you claim and their customer service has been excellent so far.

I had to insure my current L405 with them from later this month before picking up my new RR a couple of weeks later. Interestingly the annual premium for the new RR compared to the L405 was £250 less. This suggests the L460 has improved standard security? Either way, I'm putting additional security on mine. MY23 D350 HSE

My experience of NFU has been very different. Last year they quoted me more to insure a new John Deere Gator, than I was paying Admiral for a Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead - Will never call them again.

I had a similar experience with NFU - full no claims, garaged, low milage etc... and they wanted £4,000 Shocked They obviously work for some people but again admiral was the cheapest for me. 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

I had refusals from NFU, LV, and two high value brokers yesterday even before I gave my details. One broker said anything less than £2k was a bargain and I should take it. Managed in the end to get considerably less than this on a comparison site but still very high for my circumstances.
