Wiper blades.

My wiper blades are quite noisy so will try to clean them up but if that doesn’t work what are your recommends? Stick with the oem ones (part numbers dkc000040 / LR155029 are what I have found) or buy some Bosch ones for example?

Also the drivers wiper arm seems to have lost some of its black coating oddly so will try to respray or buy another, guess it’s just a bolt on-off item.

Go for Bosch. Wiper arms are a bit of a fiddle due to poor spanner access, but doable. I changed the arms for new after nine years - what a difference. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile

Thumbs Up for Bosch. Also check the joint on the OS wiper linkage as these can split and detach leading to the arms colliding with each other and causing further damage. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Thanks, can you recommend a particular Bosch wiper (model number / name).

As far as wiping the blades seem to keep an even distance away from each other at all times - just bloody loud!

For anyone else in the market for these I just got them (x2 blades) for £17 delivered on eBay using the voucher code ‘Deal20’ which took 20% off.
