Failure driver seat massage and function

My three year old L405 autobiography has developed a faulty driver seat massage and bolster adjustment function. Annoyingly it has stalled with the two upper air bag fully protruding into my back and I cannot get them down ! Any ideas chaps ? 2006 S/C owned from new. Black, sand with black inserts. As Stan says, a battery reset would be the way to go... Might be easier for you to simply unplug the seat and leave it ten mins, then plug it in and see if it comes back to life... Thumbs Up

I have this issue in a 4 year old SVA, but LR main dealer has confirmed it needs a new unit, but that LR have the part on back order.

Can anyone recommend decent parts suppliers in the UK that I can contact?

Thanks in advance.

If LR have it on backorder from the OEM, then it will be on backorder to everyone else too. As it is part of an assembly (i.e. the seat) then they won't be able to do a 'line pinch', assuming it's still a current production item. The next level down is a 'pack pinch', generally only for VOR cases and still dependent upon OEM supply, given the ongoing problems with Silicon supply, it may be time to get creative and ask your dealer to try and manually deflate the seat.

I did lots of searching for the part about a year ago I think. There were a few in the US. But I found none in Europe.
I hope you don't need to wait as long as I did. SDV8 AB MY 2020

I get many parts from EBay from crashed vehicles. Most come from Lithuania. Do a part number search. Dan. 🇨🇦 2013 L405 5.0 SCV8

Can you switch passenger side components over to driver side? Might be a workaround while waiting for new parts. Unless it’s all integrated in which case that defo won’t work! L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

Hi, i have the same problem. Why do these things always happen when you are on holiday? 😅
I’m driving a 2021 SVAutobiography Dynamic with the rear seat entertainment Tv’s if that makes a difference.
What seat connector do i have to unplug? And did this help or was it the battery reset that did the trick?
Thx in advance for you answers.
I’m really hopeless at this point cause my dealer doesn’t have time to identify the problem until mid September. Really annoying cause i’m driving at least a 1000km a week. Gonna need a new kidney if i’m not able to deflate the air cells.

I also have the same issue with the part on back order (6 months now). The dealer did deflate mine. I have asked them for the part number but they haven't been forthcoming with it. Does anyone here know what it is for the solenoid?

Thanks
