Ain't that the truth!

This Summer I went to remove the exhaust heat shield on a motorcycle.

One allen bolt refused to turn as it had already been rounded.

I ground a slot into it to turn it with a screw driver. That didn't work.

I welded something to it but that just twisted the head off.

I then removed the exhaust and tried to drill and tap the hole. No joy.

In the end I ground it off and welded a nut onto it.
