Body VIN stamp

Is there just the one on the right side suspension turret top ? Need to send in a pic for a certificate of conformity, but the electrical box is blocking a clear pic of it. If so, is the box easily removed on a 2002 4.4 BMW V8 car ?

Mine is the same model, it has the VIN showing in the bottom left corner of the windscreen. There’s also a plate at the bottom of the right B pillar ( but that may only be on Australian-delivered vehicles). Ron B. VK2OTC

Thanks for the reply, I should have mentioned that LR require clear pictures of the VIN plate, windscreen VIN and a body stamping VIN. Was wondering if the strut ower is the only body stamp VIN.
Thanks

I had a look and, on mine, the VIN behind the box is easily readable. It looks like it’s a sticker so I wonder if its position could vary slightly.

I didn’t know it was there until you mentioned it. Mine was so dusty that, initially, I couldn’t see it.
