I will try and post pics today, Pretlove, but the plug in the car is the same as yours, and the ones they have sent are nothing like a match.

I've no idea what sort of plugs are on the unit - but if you aren't getting the service you need from your original seller what you need is called a quadlock adapter. They can be found quite inexpensively.

I can find a pinout diagram so that, if necessary, you can clip the 2 connectors off and hook all the individual wires to the corresponding wires on your unit. Let me know if you need it.

they send to types of plug the old and new bmw plug so if they havent sent him the 40 pin bmw plug i should guess they have only sent him the other style......the seller is pretty good they should send the right one out and maybe its worth asking for the updated maps to be sent out free of charge as a way of saying sorry "RANGEISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED"
