United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black
4.4 SDV8 Auxiliary/ Serpentine Drive Belt

Evening all!

Just a query on the serpentine drive belt. 2016 model year 4.4 SDV8.

Question is what sort of a job is it to change and is there a recommendation on mileage for a preventative belt change.

I’ve never had one let go before (last L322 TD6 with almost 200k miles) so again wondering if anyone has had an issue on the SDV8 and is it worth doing?

Thanks in advance for any advice. Current

Aux belt replacement on the SDV8 is a 10 year or 160k mile (whichever comes first) service item.

Replacement looks simple enough according to the service manual. Just a few bits of trim and a couple of air ducts to get off to get to it. I've not done the job myself however, just going by the manual. Kev
