Are you set on an L322?

This looks a lovely car, and sensibly priced: https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic65916.html

Well probably a L322.....

Still looking around. I am even getting a complete new Garador garage door fitted soon to allow for the new FFRR to fit through!!!

So hopefully in the next few weeks or so I will have a new to me L322.

I can cover £££ wise any additional servicing costs etc over the time of my ownership, even if I spend 20k on the actual car (or possibly a bit more. The Vogue centre seem to have a few AB on their stock list for around 21k-22k ).

But I guess if I spot a really nice condition V, Westminster, VSE or AB for 15k I could go for that........

At-stevegreenock: Good luck with the Garador. We are having the Hörmann sectional ones fitted. Currently somewhere enroute from Germany…
(Slightly off topic) A funny story. I ordered the Secure By Design “Police Preferred” insulated roller doors. When the guy came over to measure for their installation. He says that the RR is too tall for the spec’ I wanted. Has to order made to measure ones, blah blah blah, from Germany.
Only a few days later did I realize he measured the height of the RR in default not “Access” height. Rolling with laughter Current: L322 2011 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE, MB GLB AMG35, Renault Clio R200 Cup

Yeah have had a quote for a sectional garador. With electronic opening etc etc. Really high up once open, and definitely wide enough. £1615 fitted. Still getting more quotes before I commit……

My favourite option if I can find one....in either AB or VSE spec......

1. Some kind of grey like Stornaway or similar
2. Beige Leather interior
3. Privacy glass from B pillar back
4. Full LRSH
5. Under 70,000 miles

Does such a unicorn exist out there?

Doubt it.......Sad

Keep looking as there are great cars out there.
I picked up a November 2012 Orkney grey Westminster tdv8 with Black interior and underv54k miles on 4 January fro3m a private seller.
Just planning my preventative maintenance strategy now. Getting the rear arches looked at as the edges exposed to tyre faces are showing early stages of rust, but local bodyshop said its an easy fit. Also booked in for a Dinitrol underseal treatment. Going to ask a local Land Rover specialist to check it over. I will get the wheels refurbished but enjoying driving it at the minute.

Wow congratulations on finding that. I am still looking though no rush, I am still waiting to widen my garage door so might take a few weeks. So I can be patient. Agree, end of 2012 would be a great find !!

Didn't production stop in August 2012?
L405 production started 16th August 2012.

Not sure. I have found a car first registration in early September 2012, but don’t know when production ended for the L322

The black one is with a dealer who specializes in LR products. They sell many FFRRs. Their prices are not the cheapest but they offer full LR facilities. The owner is a chap called Matthew Finch who has an ever changing stock. So worth keeping an eye even if this one is not for you.

The Westminster looks decent - But with both check online MOT for advisories, HPI or similar check too. Plus a good review of service history as well as all the usual checks for wear. Good luck! Current: L322 2011 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE, MB GLB AMG35, Renault Clio R200 Cup

Primoris4x4 have a 2011 VSE with 62,000 miles at £21995 and a 2012 Autobiography with 93,000 miles for £17995.

Quite a big price difference for the older and lesser specked car?

Why would this be so?

Is it just about the 30,000 extra miles on the AB?

Hmmm…

What I would say is that the 2011 says oil cooler replaced. And it does not say what other “prep” they had to do above what has been done to the 2012 model.
This could account for some of the price difference beside mileage. Also you really have to see both vehicle’s. When I was there last month and looked at their stock. And this is not trying to knock them either. What looked great in a photo, may show things like, marred paintwork, scuffs and other imperfections when you actually see it in the flesh. One may have a more comprehensive LR FSH etc.

All the above is my speculation, and I am sure, there are other forum better placed to offer their considered perspective. Bow down Current: L322 2011 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE, MB GLB AMG35, Renault Clio R200 Cup
