Todays heath check.

So I got the health check video today from LR saying that I have a small oil leak from possibly the turbo area and also in the sump level sensor wire connector.
The brakes were 7mm all around.

Is this turbo oil leak a problem? Also how low are my brake pads?

I will query tomorrow on collection. overfinch modified

The brake pad warning light should come on at 2mm, and even at that one has quite a few miles in hand before there is any risk of the pads damaging the discs. Sorry I don't know enough to comment re the oil leaks. Only Range Rovers since 1988

Thx cs.

ok for additional work they have stated, sump level sensor leaking oil and oil leak on N/S potential turbo return pipe

Does anyone have experience of these ? Is it urgent to do?
I asked the tech but as he was a 2nd-year apprentice really did not have a clue, unbelievable!

Passed by my local mechanic and he wasn't interested in doing the work. Crying or Very sad

Thumbs Up overfinch modified

Has this been done on your vehicle?

Read this has the oil leak at the turbo could be tracking to the actuator.

Yes it needs doing.
It could have been done under warranty at some stage.
Only the dealer will know that, ask them if N375 has been done.
If so why is it still tracking ?
I have previously tried to get a list of previous owner warranty repair reports from MD, which were done on mine after I purchased it, but was like trying to squeeze blood out of a stone.

They should have done this if they sell it on, and its been under extended warranty.
But it seems they only acted on N375 when people complained, there was not a recall so there may be many more out there.

Presume yours is still is under warranty if so, then they should do it.
I ended up also getting a new Turbo Actuator out of it as well. 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue

Hi Kot
Thanks for your help.
No warranty apart from some useless 6 month paper I think.

Speaking to the dealership now about it looks like it's £1200 at this point just waiting for confirmation.

Do you know what they need to do? I thought it was just the lead as in what Ken replaced on your link. overfinch modified
