What is this?!

Saw this while I had the bumper off to fit my tow bar, anyone know anything? Had Siemens on it with an electrical wire going from it, can’t remember if I saw it on the front wheels, it’s positioned at the rear of the inner arch on the rear wheels. Some sort of water level sensor maybe? 2007 TDV8 Vogue SE

It picks up the signal from the TPMS sensor in each wheel, there’s one in each wheel arch liner Thumbs Up Jonathan

Thank you for the fast reply- I did try to have a look on the internet but couldn’t see anything, it’s been baffling me for months and only today I thought to take a pic and ask the question!

Not quite - it triggers the TPMS sensor/transmitter to send data, the receiver is above the glasses holder in the roof console.
