I think he means all the chrome here, pretty sure it's not original...

Ah ok fair point....

Would you know why some L322 have different exhaust system at the back (like this one)?
Most I have viewed seem to have their exhaust hidden underneath, and are circular?

Sorry for such a dull question.....FFRR newbie here.....

It has got the 'design' rear bumper and fake exhausts fitted. I like them.

That's not bling, that's part of the Exterior Design Pack.

Admittedly, its not to everyone's taste, personally, I like the pack.

Yes I do........may go and see this. Just put my own car on Autotrader.

Will get less if I part ex it with this, but could save all the hassle of private viewings etc...

One more thing, just seen it on Pistonheads and it says 6 previous owners !!!

Not sure I like the sound of that over its 54000 mile life.....

Most do have a high owner count, do a Car Vertical check and see when the owner changes happen.

What usually happens is the first owner will have it for 3 years, when the warranty ends it changes hands quickly because people don't understand that its the 4x4 equivalent of a Ferrari and is a complex but a very capable car and will come with bills for maintenance to match.

There's a guy called Matt on YT called High Peak Autos, he has a sensible approach to LR ownership and says people should always keep 10-15% of the purchase price back for maintenance, most people don't and bail after the first big bill.

Big fan of Matt on Youtube. Watched virtually all of his videos and subscribe to his channel.

I have the £££ beyond the purchase price and have used Matts advice several times...

I am assuming 'the bling' means the lower front shiny grills.

Add quotes '£3018 worth of factory fitted extras'..... with JLR's price list for extras, I assume that the list of extras fitted will be rather small Rolling with laughter

Well it seems to be the view that 5 owners and now 6 with the latest dealer isn't such an issue....

Discuss!!!

If it is 6 previous owners making the next owner the 7th, for an 11 year old car would make me think twice, esp. when priced at the upper end of the market.

I’d also be checking the service records / supporting invoices closely (assuming they’re all present) for any mileage discrepancies. Jonathan

All that shiny stuff, original,"up"grades, aftermarket or whatever, for me it would have to go.

Everyone to their owe.

That many owners maybe telling you it's a Friday car and always going wrong....

Maybe it's innocent though..... who knows...

Don't rush into anything, there are more fattys out there.... Pete

I took a big risk when I bought mine. I'd never been in a Range Rover before.
I had them do a walk around video for me.
It had 5 previous owners.
No service history.
But it had a VW warranty that paid for everything it needed in the first year which included a new steering rack, inlet hose and battery.
It's a 2011 AB and I paid £12995 over 2 years ago which was cheap compared to todays prices.
My theory is a car is a lump of metal and plastic and can always be repaired.
Thumbs Up
