Promec best for serving my RR

Recently changed from Stratstone Cardiff to a family firm Promec based near Llantrisant South Wales. The difference in customer service and work completed is so much better.

1 . You get direct to speak to the adviser - instead of waiting on the line with Stratstone. The lady also understands Range Rovers.

2. They are much cheaper than stratstone.

3. The owner test your car and advises if any issues , however small. He advised that there was bolts missing under the car, and ordered the parts. A small job - but missed numerous times by stratstone.

4. Had an issue with limited sos functionality. Got no where with Stratstone, Promec said you need new batteries - as 7 years old. Ordered them and fixed the problem.

5. They updated the service record and dealt with Land Rover with my warranty to fix a transmission issue. They only deal with Land Rovers and are specialists in this area.

This is the first time I feel that I have the people to look after my car. I would not have a main dealer to wind my watch in comparison.

I wish there was a ferry from north Devon straight across the water would be ideal.

Mind you if they are that good perhaps get the car trailed there? About 3 hours by road from me, 140 miles. overfinch modified

They do offer courtesy car. Not a Land Rover but a cheap hatch. Gets you back and forth.
