Has anyone replaced their touch screen with an android unit?

I am considering replacing the infotainment unit with an Android one and would like to see what people's experiences are?

Specifically usability, 4x4 menus, setting the clock, time to boot up etc.

As a disclaimer: I'm not interested in fitting CarPlay or a separate screen or anything similar. I'm specifically referring to replacing the existing unit with a wide screen Android one. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8
