Does anyone know what this is lightly to be:-
I have been hearing a ticking noise coming from the engine bay, today I opened the bonnet/hood and I could see some air/gasses coming up the left hand side of the engine just back from the oil filler and lower down on the side of the engine, they were in time with the ticking.
I’m guessing some kind of leak from exhaust or could it be inlet manifold?
Forgot to mention, it’s a 3.0 v6 diesel.
