Electronic Air Suspension

My 2003 L322 4.4V8 is displaying the message ECU memory fault both with iCarsoft and GIID diagnostics after the car has been turned off and left over night.
The air suspension operates in manual mode once this fault is cleared. Does this suggest a new ECU is required to replace the original or can it be fixed?
