If cost were no object I wouldn't get an L405 that's for sure. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Can't be both EGRs so there must be something else to add to the list.

Back from holiday. Moved car… no fault messages. Drove fine.

Booked into garage Wednesday for them to have a look.

Might be something simple….

I struggled with restricted performance off and on for a few months. Indy fixed it by cleaning the MAF sensor, I didn't mention to them that I had already tried it (because I probably Censored it up) Geoff

England 2011 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

I have had the water in fuel yellow restricted performance triangle come up a few times that often disappears on its own and is a common issue with the water in fuel sensor. But after sitting for a month due to waiting for rear brake lines to be fixed, when I picked it up, the yellow sensor came on and after filling with fuel it then came on with a red triangle that actually restricted the performance and limited the revs and speed.

Stopped, turned off engine for 15 mins, then started it up and all ok again with no red or yellow warning. Not had the yellow warning for two weeks now it is in regular use.

I think sometimes the system can get confused and over protective.

Touching wood right now, but it seems to have sorted itself out for now, so not that worried. Tom

Car is at the specialist, not seen the message since and it’s still driving fine.

Their tech has read the codes and says there are a few but there is one relating to the oxygen sensor, so that would be their first port of call. Said the sensor is about £250 odd and with labour prob above £400 fitted. No issues seen with any rubber hoses/connections.

I said I’m a little reluctant to throw money at it if they don’t know it’s the actual fault, so we decided to clear the codes and id run it and see if it comes up again, then take from there as the codes would be “new” and more pertinent.

So I’ve told them to hang onto it and give it a big service and change the coolant, as that’s not been changed for a bit.

Should be able to collect it tomorrow and see how it goes.

How many oxygen sensors does the 4.4 TDV8 have? Anyone know?
