The part circled should be able to be moved by twisting, but no 'free' movement - and should bounce back if a pry bar is used to deflect it (needs wheel off the ground to check properly).

That particular bush has quite a bit of movement and is easily flexed by hand by grabbing the arm and pushing back and forth.

Thanks for the replies chaps. On that basis I think the front arm bushes are perfectly normal then!

FYI there is a revised ARB bush from JLR available... Has a return surface on the revised bush |
