L322 2012 HK Audio Radio Amplifier AH42-19C164-AJ vs. -BB

Hi forum

Today the radio/audio/TV function of my 2012 L322 started to behave erratic. Shutting down the car and restarting the engine was to no avail. The radio screen interface works, but cannot select TV, CD or portable audio. Also no sound. Bluetooth for the phone is also gone. Navigation works - however with no sound. All other functions on the touch screen work as normal.

Any experience here?

Already started to look for a replacement unit for my AH42-19C164-AJ on eBay. Found some very expensive units in the US. But see much cheaper ones with then -BB suffix in EU. These are also called 'Harman Kardon Audio Radio Amplifier'.
Anyone knows the difference between the -AJ version and the -BB?

Good news: a beauty sleep was sufficient to resolve the issue with the erratic behaviour of the AV unit of my L322. This morning when I started my RR, everything was working as it should. Even all settings were not lost. Man, I am relieved!

Would still be interested in the difference between the -AJ and the -BB version of the audio unit.

Cheers
