United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Zermatt Silver
So, After a 3 month European Tour in a combination of our...

24 year old Fiat Hymer and a 14 year old Audi A3

I had decided the time was to sell the Ranger Rover.

Gave it a good outside wash today to get the 3 months of green and grime off.

Took it out for a short drive and .............. what a Joy.

I had forgotten how smooth, quiet, luxurious, grand, gracious, you know the script.

Its staying for now.

Yes, they are expensive to run and I too despise the road tax.

But if I consider the bigger picture of running costs versus leasing or buying a mundane mainstream car, nothing to worry about I guess.

Thank you all for your help on here.

Ah! The age-old question, -and I don’t want to raise the equally age-old discussion vs other marques yet once more, so please don’t bite:

What other car can truly replace a FFRR, other than another FFRR (whatever model), despite all the weaknesses & woes? Thumbs Up

Let’s face it, we are all suckers for a nice FFRR……… Sheep Sheep Sheep Sheep Rolling with laughter “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

You've hit the nail on the head here for sure. Fatty's are a unique vehicle, no other car gets close. It was something I just had to get out of my system and I've owned two in my past, true to say, once you have the bug you simply have to have one, no point in fighting it. BMW i3 Electric Car
