sadly a complete waste of time that lot in the Insurance Department at JLR, much of it down to the stupid keyless entry on the 405's - now all the insurance companies have cottoned on to it and doubled the premiums inside the M25 ( London ) |

Iv joined in hope of buying a ff, insurance has gone crazy as we all know. I have tried for a quote on a couple of ff’s and also the discovery I currently own but it says the same and can not quote. |

Unfortunately premiums are ridiculous or cover unavailable even for the later cars where relay theft isn’t possible. |

Refused to quote me. I mean, at least do me the courtesy of quoting 5 or 10 grand or something. Jokers. I pay £3500 to someone else. Mad on a car now worth £50k. Maybe I need to switch to third party on renewal and suck up the theft risk upon which I am confident I won’t need to claim. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso |

Have an accident and the cars a write off and £3,500 sounds cheap, do you not have a weekend address in the country to insure it at... Pete
