L322 TV 2010

Hello everyone, I recently acquired a 2010 L322 Vogue spec, and I'm facing difficulties with the TV functionality. I've checked forums but am uncertain whether it has an analog or digital tuner. When I press the TV button, I can enter a channel number (can't select an actual channel nor does it show any stations), but there's no TV image. Any guidance on where to begin troubleshooting would be much appreciated.

I know it may be a redundant thing and some of you may never use your TV etc etc but I'd just like the TV to work please...

Hi, mine works but I need to autotune it every now and again as it seems to "forget", so you might try that as a kick-off.

The channel numbers don't seem to relate to anything so I end up having to scroll through them all.

My problem is that in TV mode the display contrast is very high, i.e. everyone has orange faces and the only adjustment I can find is for brightness which has no effect which renders it unuseable in reality.

Hi Andy,

Do you know how to do an auto tune? I don't see an option.

Thanks

Hi, I tried to do by video but seems we're not supposed to upload TV coverage to YouTube.

Anyway, will try to walk through it:

In TV mode ensure Auto is highlighted, i.e orange

Select Settings to the right of Auto button

Select PAl I (uk) or whatever PAL is for your location

You should then be able to scroll through the available channels, you can see mine below, these are random, there doesn't seem to be any order or pattern that I can see.

Hope this helps

Hi Andy, thanks for this. This is what happens when I attempt to auto scan. It also does not let me select a PAL option (I.e. does not stay orange, I am in the UK)

Any idea how I can proceed?

Hi Cinderella, I'm just doing some pesky work thing that I need to prioritise, terrible when that happens on a work day.

Give me an hour or so, I'll nip out to the car and see if I can replicate your symptoms on mine.

Hi Cinderella, unfortunately I could not replicate your symptoms except by pulling the power to the TV receiver unit in which case it didn't work at all or removing the antenna feeds from the pre amps, i.e. loss of signal.

Pictures of my pre amps for reference below.

Where the TV receiver is in the LH equip bay is very liable to water ingress, so a either a receiver cable has popped off, a MOST fibre has broken and thus you've lost the antenna / picture feed or the TV receiver is toast.

Good news is that a cable off is a quick fix, antenna preamp is cheap, the receivers themselves I've seen on ebay for £75. So I'd start with the cheapest and work up from there.

Sorry can't be of more help.

Hello Andy,

Very helpful thank you, I have had a look and all seems okay? However, I can't for the life of me figure out where the TV tuner is?

The TV tuner is the silver alloy box under the lack plastic one. I replaced mine recently. You have to unbolt the frame to get at the rear bolts. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded
