Motorised "buzzing" noise within dash

Afternoon folks!

Total newb here - bought my first L322 yesterday! Wanted one forever: this is my first Range Rover or even Land Rover. So far loving the Command driving position, the wafting and the torque! I think I am a convert!! Cool

Got a funny noise coming from the dash though, I thought you folks might have an idea. When I first get going, there is a buzzing (motor-like) sound coming from behind the dash, almost behind the glove box/sat nav screen. If I switch the climate control fully off, it goes away and doesn't seem to return when I turn the climate control back on again.

I have done a bit of searching on this site and found some chat about a cabin temperature sensing fan. https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic64215...ng+climate

I know absolutely nothing about this and am not entirely technical. Is this cabin temperature sensing fan a common issue and/or a likely culprit? Given it goes away when I turn off the climate, I wondered if the two are related.

Thanking you in advance,

Adrian.

It is the series of stepper motors that control where the air is directed to when the fans run. At least I think that's what they do. MY 2012 Westminster is in at the minute having that issue addressed - noisy fan motor and sounds behind the dashboard. Parts are not too expensive but there is a fair bit of work to strip the dash to access the parts.
I will update when I get mine back hopefully tomorrow evening. I will see if I can get pics of the removed parts so you know what you are looking for.
