Guys, my l322 4.4 Tdv8, I have broken off one of the diesel fuel return ‘leak-off’ or ‘bleed-down’ return pipe connectors…. They are a common rail setup that goes down both sides of the edge of the rocker covers… it would seem you have to buy the whole set of 8 to change just one… that set of 8, are already mounted on the rubber pipe, part number RANGE ROVER 4.4 TDV8 INJECTOR LEAK OFF PIPES 4.4 TDV8 FUEL SPILL PIPES LR022590. Which cost £165 the set….
Just wondered if anyone with a knackered engine or who breaks cars, could remove one, and sell it to me?
There is a trick to get them off as there is a lock/unlock symbol on the top, and the white markers need to move first… or if anyone knows a source for the actual component part number please. Pics show the rail, and the broken two way connector, (front right of engine cylinder 5…). Thanks guys.
