Maybe not the question you expect...

Can you fit four L405 wheels and tyres in the loadspace of a SWB L405?

I ask because when I bought wheels and tyres for my Discovery 3, fitting them in the loadspace was difficult, and that's with smaller wheels and a bigger boot (with flat folding seats) than an L405.

I don't want to buy some wheels, drive 200 miles to pick them up, then find that they don't fit!

Hmm. I tend to put two in the back and the other two on the back seats (with covers) where they have to overlap slightly. If doing that the dishes of the wheels should face the rear seats as otherwise they are prone to tipping forward e.g. under hard braking and it is quite unpleasant to get a blow in the back from a tipping wheel hitting the back of the front seat.

With 322s I was able to do two stacks of two in the back. Only Range Rovers since 1988
