Swapping steering wheels.

I have a genuine overfinch gloss black steering wheel that I would like to take off from my 2008 overfinch to put on my new 2011 overfinch and vice versa before I put the old up one for sale. Is this possible, just a straight swap over? Obviously same air bag and steering controls for the same model.
I bought the steering wheel from chef Kenmore as he said it didn't fit his later version l322, hence why I am asking.

Yes, should be a straight swap for the bare wheel, though as you say, you will need all other items staying with the respective car… buttons, airbag, heated steering wheel loom and control module. Leave the battery disconnected just to be sure airbag wise. Don’t connect the battery again until all the electrics are back or it will throw loads of errors.

As said above. Keep everything with the relevant vehicle. You'll potentially have different can-bus for the different switchgear Thumbs Up
