Hi all. I know this subject has been done to death but I have a technical question that I hope anyone in the know might be able to answer.
Do you know what the difference is between the below two oils. Are they the same company or is the one just a rip off. The reason I ask is because the one that says ZF Getriebe is half the price of the other well known labeled ZF Lifeguard Fluid 6 and the part numbers are different.

They're the same thing. The bottle at the bottom is the latest packaging, so if you get the top one it's old stock. If you had both bottles in front of you you'd see that they have a date printed on them and the age difference would be clear.

Cheers Phil, because the oil was been sold so much cheaper than everyone else I thought the worse, but now you have reassured me I will get and order it with the pan kit.

Just make sure the fluid is from a reputable seller, so it won't be cheap stuff put in a ZF labeled bottle. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

It's from AUTODOC I've not really heard of them before apart from on Sam's Motors, so hopefully they should be OK! I will make sure that they are sealed when they arrive. 2010 RR Autobiography 5.0 SC
