ABS and SAS Communication

2010 L322 with 5l. I have multiple lights on the dashboard, went to my mechanic who put the gap tool on and other diagnostics and we found that the steering angle sensor doesn’t even exist.
This means possible wire between ABS and SAS could be compromised. Planning on testing continuity this week.
Does anyone have experience with these wires?

Found the possible problem

Checked continuity of the lime green wire was pretty weak so I opened the connection. This is what I found. Guess I gotta pull the pins and clean it better

this is exactly what the Stealer/main dealer failed to check and wanted to charge me £1000 for a new ABS sensor on my 4.4 Petrol!! A quick rub down with a toothbrush and a bit of contact spray and it was all fixed forever! Evil or Very Mad

Used some electrical cleaner and there were about eight of the pins that were badly corroded so I spliced them with butt connectors, but this might not be good enough? Rolling Eyes Confused
Still no connection with the steering angle sensor

My shop says this is a problem where the drain from the sunroof collects in the bottom and if not clean the water will build up

Looks like there’s some salt remnants from the winters here.
