It looks to me like you have to remove the tank to gain access to those pipes, that means exhaust system removal and rear propshaft, then drop the tank, it's a huge job for a beginner and there are lots of other bits that will break easily...

I also echo Haylands thoughts and it is most definitely going to require the tank to be dropped. |

Fuel pipe repair kit ? Looks like the plastic connector.

Yes, I agree, I would look at a repair first. I would contact the company and confirm that the connector will fit. And go from there.

The ring is very tight and I cannot now remove it because the whole cap moves with it.
