2011 Range Rover TDV8 Vogue SE Auto Stornoway Grey

no-one buys them for fuel efficiency.....

i agree with you. But LR did this ridiculous thing with the alternator so that we all got flat battery syndrome earlier in the year because they wanted to eke out a slivver of extra MPG.

not clever.

Must be said that Im new to the FFRR family having only owned one for 3 months now.

Yes I knew my fuel consumption would go up when I bought it but so did my comfort Very Happy

What also needs to be taken into consideration on these reliability reports is all the bells and whistles that come with the Rangie.

Yes a lot can go wrong with them Evil or Very Mad BUT there is a lot of car in the first place Cool

And for a MOST unreliable car there is an awfull lot of them on the road Thumbs Up

And my standard battle cry to those who try and mock the FFRR or its reliability.............
DILLIGAF ?????
The FFRR remains the standard by which all others are judged. Nuff said. Thumbs Up Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.

Very odd

2008 RRS HST never missed a beat in 18,000 miles one minor issue with drivers seat

2008 Disco same ( and no seat issue )

2011 4.4TDV8 FFRR 5000 miles so far no issues and great on fuel compared to 2-3 other cars i have ( all reasonable power cars )

2011 Disco 4 commercial SDV6 6000 miles no issues

Just one My2010 RRS that had every issue you could imagine in 5000 miles and was got rid back to Land Rover seems that problems all related to purely bad build quality Sad

I do wonder if it's very much the same as a forum you only really get to see the issues not the big positives, of these cars , people fill in these survey's just to vent there frustration ! and if you buy a 5.0SC well you know you are not buying it for fuel economy LOL......

Had a 2007 Porsche Boxter S from new for my wife , 1 gear box , 2 engines , 1 electrical failure in under 17,000 miles ! and My last Porsche 997GT2 spent more time back at Porsche than it did with me in under 6000 miles Sad so where did they come in the BS survey ? MY11.5 Range Rover 4.4 TDV8 Santorini / Ivory Fully Loaded Arrived March 1st Smile

After 16 years and 7 products built at Solihull that have been the paragon of reliability I am about to take delivery of a Halewood build car, I hope it can continue in the same vein as the Solihull cars. Freelander2 always seems to come higher up the ranking than any other LR/RR so the prospects are good 2012MY RREvoque Dynamic Lux Plus Auto SD4 Coupe in Fuji White with full ebony interior

I think the surveys are skewed ...not enough samples per % of cars sold ...mostly bullsh*t statstics

how you can judge something based on a few thousands responses is beyond me

and then the definition of "reliablity" is subjective at best ...some people complain about a bit of loose trim, others dont complain until it fails to start cheers
