the one i fitted and does the job very well is a bosch 020 with 110AH, 920CCA....so if that one gives you 130AH and 1000CCA then it does sound a good battery...just make sure the terminals are the correct way round....

I just fitted one of these to my 08 it was a tight fit ! I noticed the OEM version was 950CA with 1000 AH ( VARTA) . I was getting the ocassional "Special Programs off " message with a bong on start up. The problem is now gone. I have noticed the car runs even smoother than before. If the battery had not been charging properly or had a problem with a cell in the battery would this mean the engine may run rougher and burn more fuel ? I seem to be getting about 2- 3mpg more now.

can a bad battery cause so many of these issues such as rough running with more fuel being used ? Present :2008 TDV8 HSE
