Colour coded mirror cap options?

Hi all

Sorry if this has been discussed previously, I'm posting from my Blackberry so the search will take forever.

I want to update the mirrors with colour coded top halfs, I have seen painted covers that fit over the existing housing but after fitting this type to my RRS I didn't like the look. The 2010 has removable covers, does the 2007 or is painting the existing ones the only option?
