Ref the "Ex Police" info don't be fooled . . . . I read the only ones used as "Chief Constable chaffeur cars" were a handful in Scotland - the Police Authorities who rubber stamped them for purchase and use got a right slating !
Is there an "S" on the VRM - denoting a Scottish registration ? I saw one of these for sale when looking for mine - nice car, but too basic for "the missus".
From my own experience, I wouldn't go near an Ex Police - Well serviced, yes. But caned from freezing temperatures, NO ! Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

Have to agree Tug, yes they're serviced regularly, but do you think on a sub-zero winters morning, they're going to drive gently on an emergency call until the engines fully up to temp?
