Did a search but didn't really find an answer.

One of my 22" alloys has a crack in it so I've put my spare wheel (20") on for now. I assumed that I will ok to do so for a few days until it's done but the diameter is slightly different. My 22's are 285/35/22 and my spare (original supercharged alloys) are 255/50/20. I entered the info on a tyre site and the difference is slight but will it be ok to use? Either that or the ffrr will be off the road for a few days.

.. constant use with differant size tyres on a 4x4 will knacker the transfer box but for the few days you are going to use it ,take it easy and dont do any long journeys or rag it , it'll be ok

Standard size for 20in rims is 255/50, so this would reduce down the overall diameter to within the acceptable tolerances.

i had the wrong size in the first pic so i've rectified it with the correct size...the difference is very minimal so no problems..

cheers for the info. its a good job that it is ok as within 20 mins of me putting the spare on the wifes jumps in the car and off all afternoon! then i get a phonecall from her asking if i was aware that one of the alloys was missing!!!!! bloody women FFRR 4.2 Supercharged
