Who builds the best 4x4?

Telegraph survey, results no surprise, Land Rover polls more votes than the rest of the top ten combined!

It's interesting when LR generally get such a bad rep when it comes to reliability on these type of surveys

Thats an odd order, unless they are infering SUV instead of 4x4.

I would have gone for..

Land Rover (Defender/disco/Rangie)
Toyota (Land Cruiser)
Jeep (Wrangler/rubicon)
Hummer (H1 only)
Mercedes (G-wagon)

(All the rest - Mitsubushi\Audi\Suzuki\Lexus\BMW)

And thats without the 'bootique' manufactures, eg Bowler. __________________

After my issues with Toyota i would rate them at the bottom, once you've experienced diesel spraying all over the engine bay and good force you dont really rate the reliability of such vehicles when they refuse to admit it was a serious fault....

You could offer Land Cruiser the award, but being a Toyota i'm not sure if it would be able to stop and collect it?!

That's cos Toyotas all come with mounts for machine guns built in to the floors. Thumbs Up Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.
