Just make sure you can prove it's a genuine Sub and not a good "repilca"! No papers would make me nervous as boxes are easily sourced on fleabay. If there are no papers, and thus no proof it's real, get it checked by a Rolex dealer.

How do you define "some wear"? Has it been serviced? If not, budget on around £500 or so, and be without the watche for as long as 4 months if you send it back to Rolex! Got - 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black

Around 1995/96 i bought the watch is still wear. A Rolex Sea dweller.
At the time i paied around 3500 gbp.
If i would sell it today i think i would be able to get closer to 4000I think it is a classy looking watch that never goes out of style.
And i don´t care that when people are coming home from Thailand they have the "same" watch. But paied 10 gbp Very Happy

My daily watch is an Omega Seamaster professional chronometer - been wearing it every day for almost 5 years and it has never missed a beat. When my wife bought it for my 30th birthday we wrote to Omega customer care and they posted the actual COSC 'certificate' for my watch. So I have every piece of paperwork available for my watch. Don't care what it is worth now as it is a cherished gift.

I bought SWMBO a quartz constellation double eagle (they didn't make a mechanical one as small at the time) at the same time and last year after 4 years the battery finally needed replacing. Happily this coincided with a time when I was at my client's offices in Geneva just before christmas, so I managed to get the battery changed directly by the Omega boutique and even better, because it was the night of their christmas party, they did it for free and gave me a drink and some canapés at the same time!!

I have a Rolex submariner with a blue face,got it from a very genuine man in morroco for £30. it was his last one and apparently i was very lucky lucky ( his words,not mine Thumbs Up )

must be honest to you good replicas start at 120£ and go up to 500£ but they are so well built most of the people cant call you out.
