For some reason one of my wing mirrors has reversed its operation!

1 is in and the other is out!
If I operate the tuck in/flip out button they just swap to 1out 1in!!

Just going to read the wiki now then manual but it's very strange indeed!

And no holding one in position and operating the button doesn't fix it

Yeah, happened to me too. There are 2 fuses in behind the glovebox, can't remember which numbers right now. Remove them both and operate the powerfold button. Replace 1 of them (doesn't matter which) and operate powerfold again. Replace other fuse and operate powerfold. All should now be well.

Wow, mine did the same last night! Dom, would you mind finding the fuse numbers so i can reset mine too please... I take it they are in the main fuse box under the cd changer?

I had this problem (only it was one up, one down) with the headlights on a TVR... solution was £800 at the thieving bas tards at Kerridges to fix it.

Fuses 11 and 24 in the main fusebox located behind the lower glovebox.

I've now found the document I used to fix mine and there is a process which can be tried as follows.
Remove fuses 11 and 24.
Lock car and wait for it to go to sleep (5 minutes)
Unlock car.
Manhandle one of the mirrors so it is in the same position as the other.
replace fuses and turn on ignition
Operate powerfold button twice to re-sync the mirrors leaving 15 seconds between each operation.

If this fails (as mine did) then you go on to stage 2 which I documented above.

Also note there is a final "Last chance saloon" solution which is as follows:
Open bonnet
Switch off car and allow it to go to sleep.
Disconnect both battery leads.
Leave 5 minutes
Short out the battery CABLES .......NOT THE BATTERY TERMINALS by touching the positive cable to the negative.
Reconnect battery cables
Operate powerfold button.

This one has the effect of erasing all the modules on the car to effectively reset the mirror modules. It also clears down radio stations, fuel computer memory etc etc.

Use the search this has been mentioned before and the solution is much simpler than taking out fuses. 2010 3.6TDV8 Stornoway Grey/ Black interior - gone
2005 4.4V8 (M62) Bonatti Grey/ Parchment interior - gone
1998 4.6HSE Blue/ Cream interior (can't remember exact colours) - gone
1977 White - gone (should have kept)
