Why would they want to do that?

May be a rear shunt and that's why its been wrapped white?

Also the rear tailgate gap between it and body panel seems to big.....

There's a 59 plate near me, with the old front lights and grille on !!!!! Can't work out if it's been stored, or someone has done a bodge fix on a damaged car.

I remember someone local to me buying a new unregistered Mk1 RS Turbo and storing it till 1990, when he registered it as a H plate. No idea why. 02 Vogue
