Another vote for the 808's - quieter than the LR ones (after 2 months) and they look the same.

The question is - will they stop the knocking noise when the drivers side wiper fully extends? Every RR I've got in seems to make this noise.

It's probably smacking into the pillar. Take the wiper off the sprocket and move it round a bit.  2003 V8 HSE (LPG)

... and a fastback Beetle.

Cheers JW. Considered that, but it looks like the resting position of the blades is spot on horizontal so was reluctant to have it pointing downwards if you know what I mean. I think you;re right though - worth a try rotating it by one notch and see what happens (if the new blades don't do the trick).

Scarey, that's excellent, thanks. Wasn't aware of that. Are those measurements (A&B) from the bottom of the glass by the looks of the diagram?

Guys just purchased some 808's on Bay of E for £16

Does the rear wiper have special fitment also or will any 18inch blade suffice?  Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

I bought a rear one online, advertised as genuine but it must have been OEM when it came as no LR packaging or anything. I wasnt worried about that but when removing the original one i had to click it out, the OEM slides in and doesnt lock, no im worried it falls out
