Heating Fault

I have a strange fault with the heater. If you put the temp dial to min then the fan speeds up and blasts out icy cold air, if you then set the temp somewhere in the middle the fan slows down as you would expect however when you set the temp to max although hot air comes out the fan does not speed up so you are only getting a small air flow. The rear heater out put remains cold at all temp settings except max.

Any suggestions greatfully recieved.

I have tried searching but can't seem to find anything that specific about the heating system. The Royal an Lochan our hotel as featured on Channel 4's Relocation Relocation. Watch it on 4oD http://www.channel4.com/programmes/relocat.../episode-6

I have read about the final stage resistor but that seems to be the problem if the fan stops working, my fan works fine if you set the temp to min, only once you take the temp setting off min does the fan slow down. The Royal an Lochan our hotel as featured on Channel 4's Relocation Relocation. I have read the FSR threads and it would appear that before the FSR packs up completely it starts to cause problems at higher temps rather than lower temps. Would those of you that have suffered from probs with the FSR agree with this and think that I am getting a pre warning of a failure, if this is the case I shall change it before it does fail. The Royal an Lochan our hotel as featured on Channel 4's Relocation Relocation.
