2002 Range Rover 4.4 V8 Vogue Auto Adriatic Blue

Removing Land Rover Badge

Afternoon Chaps,

Just a quick question today -

I want to remove the rear tailgate oval 'Land Rover' badge, similar to that of the 2011 Range Rover.
Is there any easy way of doing this without damaging the paintwork? Also, has the tailgate got an indent for the badge, or is it all flush with no holes?

talked about many times rad and there are many suggestions..no holes are left and the way i did it was to heat up the adhesive with a hairdryer and gently prise off the badge..you'll be left with the adhesive on the bodywork which you can rub of with your fingers.. ..............................

Just an update:

I used a hairdryer to loosen the glue and was left with the foreseeable ring of glue.
After getting as much of it off as possible with the hairdryer and scraper ‘tool’ – then proceeded to put some Super Resin Polish on it and get the remains off. Now, IMO the car looks fantastic! Ram Kanadia
