Right chaps got the brackets and removed lower panel under sharkfin grills. Although there are two holes in the bracket there is only one on the fixing location. I lined up the bracket and have drilled a second hole and fixed with a screw . Fitment is solid but the fixing points that sit into the front wheel arch seem to be in too far on the bottom. Am I right in thinking I can bend these so can align mudflaps properly and fit. It doesnt help that none of the screws actually fit but ive overcome this . Please advise. Thanks.

Carlos thanks for your response yes it defo lined up correctly I wouldnt have drilled a hole in my beloved rangie otherwise. Would love to see some pics of your if i could showing bracket and clips etc. I have clips but despite lining up i reckon i need to use a pliers to bend into place as they seem too far rescessed into arch. Additionally how did you facilitate the fix point underneath as i have a plastic screw there that im unsure what to replace that with . Much appreciated. |

Thanks Scarey I found that too but fitment is completely different on the FFRR unfortunately. I'm surprised no one has had the same issues as me to be honest as its not a straight forward job and im quite good at DIY. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

I fitted front mudflaps to my car recently, followed the instructions to the letter and didn't have to bend the mounting bracket. I found it fitted perfectly.

The instructions didn't indicate any fixing underneath but I decided to use a stainless self tapping screw thro each mudflap into the plastic cill trim for a bit of extra security.
