The cost of vehicle tax for cars, motorcycles, light goods vehicles and trade licences

Calculate the cost of vehicle tax for your vehicle using the tables below. The tables contain the rates of vehicle tax for the different tax classes, together with tax class (TC) codes to distinguish them.

The rates shown apply to tax discs taken out from 1 April 2011.

Cars registered on or after 1 March 2001 (based on fuel type and CO2 emissions)

The rates shown only apply to cars that have been type approved in category M1 and registered on the basis of CO2 emissions measured in grams per kilometre (g/km) driven. These details are shown on the registration certificate (V5C).

Vehicle tax rates for cars registered on or after 1 March 2001 are split into 13 bands depending on CO2 emissions. The amount you'll pay depends on which band your car is in. The lower a car’s emissions, the lower the vehicle tax payable on it.

still, that begs the question:

what the heck was the thong doing in your undies drawer in the first place?

reminds me of an incident a few years back.
small company, 5 guys, we decided to invite the chaps from work & wives to come round and have a braai (barbecue) at our house. things went well till some of the ladies decided to jump in the jacuzzi. then the guys wanted to hop in too, so we did. all except one chap whose name i won't mention. after a few minutes of heckling from his mates he capitulated, and as he dropped his jeans we could see he was wearing a pair of his wife's "granny panties" Shocked his excuse was he had run out, and these were all he could find Shocked Shocked Shocked Ex: D3 TDV6 SE

Like Sir Pleb, I spent yesterday with my two at Mercedes-Benz World looking at new E-Classes and having lunch outside to the noise of angry AMG V8's and tortured tyres. Wifey wanted some QT to herself.

Took the FFRR there and it was glorious in every way.

The other perk after that was cleaning my RR in the spring sunshine. I love my cars to be properly clean.

Another of life's perks right now is my 12 month old baby daughter falling asleep on me. So peaceful and warm. I often wonder what she dreams of. A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.
