Well on this very topic my brother has called me as he isn't happy with the quality of the Xbox gameplay and wants to upgrade his old pc he says it's that bad Smile guess a ps3 is the closest thing to a gaming rig you can get on a budget these days

I think he might take my advice and buy an older dell workstation with dual xeons and double up on gfx cards as well and re-use the old water cool and HDD(1st gen Raptor) to play it on his tv Smile

yellow light of death apparantly, just switches itself off after a few seconds quite a common problem,

I have only used my PS3 about 5 times for games. I bought Grand Tourismo 5 and played it once but mostly I use the PS3 to watch blu-ray movies as I have it connected up to a Home Cinema System. I have read though that Battlefield 3 plays better on the PS3 so thats got me thinking as there seems to be a bit of slowdown on the Xbox which up until know I believe it to be far superior than the PS3. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

I think MW3 has been disappointing really. Not impressed with the new maps and the whole thing seems a rushed product.

Online suffers from lag pretty badly compared to other online games I've played. V8 or else.
