The only way to get an iphone cradle in a FFRR would be to buy the BMW eject box & iphone snap in cradle, swap out the tray under the centre arm rest with an earlier LR version that accepts the eject box and carry out a clever bit of rewiring to get the iPod socket wires to match the ones in the cradle.

I'm tempted to have a go but not sure really just for charging Rolling Eyes

Mick - welcome to the 2010MY club! Thumbs Up

Ref Disco 3 unlocking, I guess this is because Disco 3 has an actual key wheres the FFRR uses a keyless start, despite not having keyless access!

Apparently keyless access would have required complete re-engineering of the doors (although some new cars with keyless start don't all have it either - e.g. F10 5 Series, where it's an option).

Hhhhmm , Parts bloke told me you can't fit front mud flaps as there was a modification done to the underside of 2010 Mdl's

He also told me that during heavy snow or a long period of slush and ice can cause deployable ones to stick Whistle

Mick,

DIY the fixed side steps and mudflaps, I am sure you can have a deal on both with Dan @ Duckworths or Nick at Yeovil and save yourself a fortune or find the genuine parts on eBay. Neither job is really that difficult Rolling Eyes
