Hi lads, need some advice regarding servicing, got a 07 TDV8 with 4000 miles from new, which hasnt been back to the dealers since delivery day. Do u recommend a proper full 1st service or just an oil change service?

The FFRR has a service interval indicator located in the instrument panel below the speedo, When either an Oil Service or an Inspection is due the corresponding message will be displayed as the starter switch is turned to position 1

thanks mick, yes its indicating an inspection, so would i have to book a full service?

Think it may need an Inspection 1 as the FFRR have different service schedules from the rest of the LR range.

Think it goes

1st inspection -- inspection 1
2nd inspection -- inspection 1
3rd inspection -- inspection 2 which is the one around the 30k mile mark which is the big service...

So i don't think you will need a full service if it has only done 4000 miles..........

So how did you get an 07 mdl with only 4000 miles on it

i brought the car new, mainly as a 'weekend' cruiser. Problem is i like to watch football and drink beer at weekends so its been idling and depreciating!
