Dan (x2) , the best, classiest (and biggest!) wine glasses I have found are Villeroy & bosch MAXIMA red wine glasses. Around £7 ea I think.

Also a really good (and useful) present for wine buffs is a classic decanter. One like this allows the wine to aerate whilst being poured.
